How can you not think it's like Ego's style? Had Ego never existed... Left 4 Speed would never exist. Yes, I will understand if he inspires someone to move on to bigger, better things, no, not even that... just original styles - parody or not - but no, it's not. It's even called Left 4 Speed... They even named in the same way without using Awesome.
Besides, they failed. The movie wasn't funny. At least Ego knows how to use his own style. You can't just scream and flail around and assume that's hilarious, tricking newgrounders into "Oh wow... I didn't actually lol, but man, that was the funniest thing I've ever seen because it FEELS like I'm watching an Egoraptor cartoon!" There were no actual jokes or punches in that cartoon. It's so disappointing how much credit it has been given. Daily Feature??? Come on! I'd understand if it maybe got a Daily 5th, but seriously...
this is really ironic coming from the guy who's art style for the last couple of years has been a fairly odd parents ripoff.

As much as I do consider that Left 4 speed does have a HUGE relationship with Egoraptor's work, I actually consider all video-game parodies into one big group: Pinnacle of Unoriginality
Now please don't get me wrong, there's lots of good videogame parodies out there, but they're, besides from unoriginal and not funny, badly writen, because in the end, the whole movie turns out to be a big dissapointing mess of joke everybody already made after joke everybody already made.
Of course, that's just my opinion, I don't mean to troll over Oney's nor Egoraptor's work, I respect them and their work, but if you ask me, I prefer when Oney makes original comedy like "Chris and Harry" and I'm looking up yo seeing that work Egoraptor is making, rumor has it he's making a non videogame related movie...

I have been studying some things that is all and found out
"Left 4 Speed?" "Left 4 Awesome?" Oney could probably name it "Left 4 Donuts" and it still kick ass anyway. Fuck the name.
it's more the style of humour, pacing, and the fact that the artwork is simpistic that people are commenting on, not so much whether or not one draws thick eyebrows and the other draws gums and ears.
dude,you are right.the only thing that makes it similar to egoraptor's animations is the speed.and Egoraptor didn't create speed so it ISN'T a awesome series movie.but the movie is awesome anyways.

I think the real solution is that we start playing more games on newgrounds instead of movies. Those take a lot of effort too

I agree, I feel that most people will pull the blam trigger too soon, just cause it looks a bit like ego's flashes, which is a bit unfair to oney, who has been making alot of great flashes. Ego's Flashes basically the start of all the new fast paced flashes you see today, which some people need to relise, specially when I see comments like "YOU ARE A WANNABE EGO!" on flashes that say "*SOMETHING* Awesome, what if ego played *this game*" LOL. Honestly thoug, do people really get tired of awesome flashes? I don't think so! lol.

Oney might be inspired by egoraptor but his style in drawing and humor is quite different. the only thing thats alike is the fact that they both are making fun of games. And neither oney or egorapor started that idea =D
