Onyx Colony Full Album Demo And More!

Hey people! Well, our band have gotten the track list sorted, the songs almost recorded, and are now ready to submit 3 second clips of what there is to come on the album. Hope you like!

THIS IS ONLY A DEMO! We are yet to find a professional recording studio to remake our songs, tis is only a load of general ideas of songs that we've got, so please excuse the quality on most of the songs, if not all of the songs!

In anumating news, I have started work on Randomonium Episode Two. This is gonna be longer, and will feature a second author. No one big, just a good friend of mine called Chris Dell Isola (Or knoxfan25) who makes the "Chris and Friends" series :D I wanted a bit of help, and he was up to it, so thanks dude :)

Definitely not the kind of music I would have thought you would make! Unfortunately not the kind of music I appreciate the most. Nonetheless it still sounds awesome!
I think I remember you wrote about getting an Epiphone, so I'm assuming you're playing guitar? I also think I can hear you on some of the vocals. Vocals are though the only thing I will comment on. On most of the songs, the vocals are simply not loud and clear enough. But I'm sure it would sound even more awesome if you could get it slightly better mixed.
Also, awesome cover art, did you make that?

haha thanks dude :D yeah the vocals need turning up, but I needed to make sure the mix wasn't too quiet, and so I had to sacrifice loud vocals. hopefully in a better recording studio, it'll all be fine :D

and yes I did mkae the cover art. started off as a crappy skull and circle in flash in which i evolved in photoshop. the background was a few simple effects i did in flash, conmbined with a few effects in photoshop :P

The vocals definitely need to be cracked up but I'm liking this lot! I look forward to getting and hearing the completed thing!

aye it's quite awkward when mixing in this software, however once we find somewhere else to record (somewhere a lot better) we will be on our way :P

I use garageband. Yeah we're a low budget band as of now, but that's what part time jobs are for xD

hahaha yeah autotune does suck, but It's the closest i could get t pitch editing, I cant find a decent program to do it like the professionals xD

it all sounds very good so far. i'll have to listen to the entire song before i buy one though.

which part of the band are you?

are you going to offer the songs online?

have you guys heard about the Rock Band network? bands can submit their songs to the Rock Band game website to be downloadable content, in turn the bands get advertising and i think also part of the income.

yeah hopefully the songs will be available as a download on the internet, but I've also found this website where you can post the songs directly onto itunes, so that should be sweet.

No I haven heard of that... sounds awesome though! :D Ill be sure to check it out
